Rosey Hearts Challenge #2 Wings

My second post today, this time my DT project for Rosey Hearts.  This is a new blog and their second challenge, the theme is Anything Goes/Wings.  If you have not visited this new blog head over there and check out the fabulous digi stamps available.  For my project I am using Fairy Rose to decorate the front cover of a journal.

For the background I used oddments of paper from my stash in a lilac/purple colour and then added a napkin, then gave the cover a coat of mod podge.  I coloured the image in Spectrum Noir pens, fussy cut her out and matted on to purple paper, then added to the cover.  To embellish I added purple gems on her dress, pearl beads on the cover, filigree corners, acrylic dragonflies, a fabric butterfly and a purple/gold lace flower.  The sentiment came from my stash.

I hope you will be able to visit the blog and see the other creations made by the DT and enter the challenge.
