Stick Pin Holder

Hello crafters.

My project today is a stick pin tag and it is for entry over on YouTube.  Aileen Fallon is hosting a challenge for participants to make something to display in her new craft room.  The only particular request is that the colour scheme is purple, pink or bright green.  For my project I have chosen pink.

I started off with a large woodchip tag from Fernli Designs and covered the front with Parisian Dreams designer paper by Jenny Ellory.  All around the edge of the card is pale pink lace with a pearl bead trim.  The pin holder is in the centre made from felt and card, covered with the designer paper.  There are four layers of lace dropping down to the bottom of the tag, two in white and two in pink.  This is to conceal the bottom of the stick pins which do not have any beads on them.  I have added a drop pearl bead trim to the top of the pin holder.  At the top of the tag, I have added white and pink roses and a white ribbon with a bow.

The two pins in the centre are 6 inch hat pins with various beads and spacers I have in my stash.  The smaller pins are 3 inches long.

I hope you like my project and thank you for stopping by.

Rose xx
