Pretty in Pink With Wings

Good Afternoon Crafters

My project today is a stick pin holder.  The base started out as a wooden pot.  First I painted it all over in pink acrylic paint then embossed it with Stampendious Frantage Shabby Pink enamel.  The base is pink felt and I added strips of lace all around the pot.  There is pink beaded trim at the top and white at the bottom.  The holder for the pins is pink felt with wadding inside.  The stick pins are hand made by me.
I stamped two birds and two butterflies from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous set with Memento Ink London Fog and Rich Cocoa and Tim Holtz Distress ink Victorian Velvet.  I added small black beads for the birds eyes and coloured beads for the butterflies wings.  The flowers are Gardenias, Wild Roses and Sweetheart Blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I then adhered them to the pot and added some stickles for sparkle.  The back of the pot looks like this

I hope you like my project and thank you for stopping by.
